Maschine Mikro Mk3. Privacy. Ownership. Linux

Should I be concerned about buying the Maschine Mikro Mk3? I am using Linux. Will that mean problems? Ideally I would not want to make any sort of contact with the manufacturer to get the device to work, nor give them any of my device information. Also, if I sell the Mikro in future, will there be problems?

I’m trying to determine whether this device is even worth buying, or if I will I be buying a headache.

Unfortunately it will not work. Those Maschine units somehow activate through a driver in the operating system it seems. And that means Mac or Windows. For a Linux device you’d need something class compliant. I thing the Nectar Aruba is.
