Reinstalled my OS, can’t get Machine Micro mkii to be recognized. I don’t care anymore.
It feels good to throw this thing in the trash.
I came here like 4 years ago with this recommendation and just endless issues with the NI company, the product being replaced because first one was defective. I am out! My own opinion is to stay away from NI products. Literally the least favorite piece of gear in 5 years. Bleh.
Just to be clear is it a mk3 or an mk2?
I have never used an mk2.
That said, apart from the pad response and the large pads I do not like the fact that you need maschine software to activate the unit, even when just used in midi standalone mode.
Anyways, good for you! Is there another device youre switching to?
I understand computer frustration. But think about it logically. If everyone had these problems they’d never be able to sell another unit. I have a mk3. When working it is wonderful. But it does need to be restarted sometimes, so there is some kind of a glitch going on. Overall I’m going to give it a thumbs up just due to the responsive feel.
