Weird cymbal interaction on Launchkey

Trying to setup drums on Launchkey, using the same drum kit as my Launchpad, but for some reason when I hit certain pads like the crashes it cuts off unless I hit it just the right way.

Anyone know what’s going on? I don’t have the choke turned on and am using the same exact kit on both devices so I’m a bit confused why it’s happening

Is there some way you can see if those pads have “aftertouch” or “pressure” settings? Turning those off might help.
