Working with groove agent

*I am completly new in fingerdrumming land. Just orderd a Machine mikro3. I want to use it to put drumtracks in my Cubase Artist projects. Groove Agent is a standard VST in cubase. Has anyone experience in working with that? How to set it up?

I actually used groove agent 1 back in the day, but back then it was a midi drum loops library. Nowadays it seems you can do a lot more, but it’s not the easiest plugin to use. Assigning notes to pads is possible but you have to hover over the pad and click the right square within the pad… stuff like that.

Did you try setting it up already? Got stuck anywhere particular?

Delivery of the controller is delayed so I have to be patient for a few days. Thanks anyway for your quick response.:+1:

This is a very old thread, but just saying that… though I’m no expert on Groove Agent, I’ve successfully set up my controller with it and used it to create songs, so I might be able to help if you (or anyone else) with specific questions. Of course, I suggest first giving setting it up a try… we learn by our mistakes after all!
