Will the recommended ADPaks get me sounds like this?

Hi,

I’m a noob at fingerdrumming and I see that the 3 recommended packs are Black Oyster, Fairfax 1, and Funk. My goal is to be able to remake and create authentic sounding breaks from “scratch”. I hope this is not a dumb question, but would any of these packs get me close to this sound?

Yes! Those sounds are possible with those 3 packs. The first thing that comes to mind is to try the “Too old for school” preset in Fairfax 1. Instant breakbeat feel.

And by tweaking things yourself you can get a lot more sounds close to it.

Wait until te Black Friday deal starts though! One more week or so? Saves you 40% often.
