New vs. Used Maschine Mikro Mk3

My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I tried a search and didn’t see anything.

I was curious if buying a new Maschine Mikro Mk3 would be worth it if I have Maschine 2 already? I own a Native Instruments audio interface, which I believe includes the same software bundle as the Mikro, except for Massive(unless the Maschine 2 software bundled with the audio interface is just a light version). I usually lean towards buying new just because you never know the amount of wear a device has on things you can’t see.

I primarily work out of Ableton but I was looking at getting a Mikro to learn finger drumming for the ability to just jam out sometimes.

Thanks!

I have never played a Maschine mk2, but from what I hear the pads are pretty good. You can test this by seeing if basically the weight of your hand/finger falling down on the pad without you using any force is enough to trigger the pads. If so, you should be ok with your Maschine mk2.
