Mapping AD2 volume controls to Maschine MK3 knobs

Hey folks :waving_hand:

I’m not using any DAW software, but I’d love to map my Maschine MK3 knobs to control the volume faders in Addictive Drums 2. It seems like a no-brainer—especially for live use or just tweaking levels in real time while jamming along to music.

Unfortunately, it looks like you need to dive into full-on DAW territory to make this happen. As far as I can tell, there’s no MIDI learn function or any other direct way to map the MK3 knobs to the AD2 volume faders—even though the MIDI mapping screen clearly registers the CC data when I turn the knobs.

Does that line up with what others have seen?

I think volume is not possible. Or at least, I have never done it. I use the knobs for the CC controls, like hi hat open close etc. Not volume.

If I had to do it it would indeed be mapping to different DAW tracks and controlling those via midi separately.
