Is it possible to reassign the default drum pad layout on Maschine+ in standalone mode to match the configuration proposed by QFG? Additionally, is there a way to ensure that the layout remains consistent when switching drum kits?
Thanks!

I’m not that familiar with the Maschine ecosystem (I only use them in midi mode and ignore all features besides the pads) but from what I know from assigning sounds to pads in Maschine 2.0 software, you have to create an empty project with the sounds properly assigned and then open that up, save under a new name before making changes etc.
The problem with Maschine software is that it is not made for drumming, it is meant for sample based music creation. So with that mindset it makes no sense to always put the same sounds under the same pads. You probably want to start fresh every time and put new sounds in every time when “making a beat”, which I think it is mostly used for… but again I’m not an expert here.
So yeah… it’s just not the drumkit in a box I would want. By no means a bad product for other purposes though. And the pads are wonderful.
Hi there, I use the+ and you would have to load each kit, use the move function to put sounds where you want them to be and then save them again. They are all set up roughly the same but the layout is less than ideal for fingerdrumming in my opinion.
