Beat from fargo series

Hello, I wanted to learn this long before I even heard about finger drumming. It is a long shot but maybe someone encountered notation for this? https://youtu.be/icOD6Lm08lg

Yeah, this is a really cool beat. Unfortunately, I don’t have a drum sheet/notation.
For the kit: You might have to experiment for a while to get that noisy rich, crisp sound (and find the most optimal layout), but overall you will need a hihat foot close, a normal closed hihat, open hihat, a cymbalm, snare rimshot, some normal snare heavily FXd, and a kick of course.
For the notes: Your best bet is probably searching for videos of drummers playing the beat on a real drumkit. Another option is analyzing the beat in a DAW.
Good luck!

Aw yeah!

Two things that might help you:

  • Turn the room mics way up in your sound. Part of the coolness is that its very roomy and reverby. In addictive drums you can also add “tone shaper” to the snare and give it more of a tone. By doing that you’ll get even closer!
