Anybody tried Serato Slab yet? Can’t find anything on this device other than the usual bla bla, nothing fingerdrumming related or how big and good the pads are. It looks pretty dope and very similar to Maschine. But if the pads ain’t good, than it’s not worth it. Btw. I am unhappy with my Maschine Mikro mk3 as secondary device. So looking for something else.

Interesting, I have not tried it. It indeed looks nice and thin. I might see if I can check that one out as well as the one from Fender that is coming out soon.
I’m especially curious to see what Fender comes up with! Their website states that they use pads from Fatar, a well-known manufacturer of high-quality piano keyboards. Will they be able to surpass the decades-long experience of Maschine or Akai? We’ll see! As for the Slab, judging by the reviews, the pads are nothing special. No better than Maschine.
