# Ni Maschine MK3 audio interface

Hi folks,

is this possible to use Maschine MK3 audio interface with Addictive Drums? I mean switch MK3 to midi mode, plug it into the laptop, and have my sound via MK3 headphone output. I would like to have as minimum cables and devices involved as possible.

Hi Mykhailo,

I can select the Maschine Mk 3 interface in Addictive Drums’ Audio & Midi settings as an audio output, regardless of midi mode. So it would seem like: yes 🙂

I remember I had to to some fiddling in the actual Maschine software to get the headphone output to match the speaker output (making it so both the speaker and headphone output of Maschine outputted “channel 1+2”, instead of the headphone output being “channel 3+4”). So that might be the only thing you will have to adjust for your setup.
