# My latest E-drum project

Ok, not finger drumming, but this was the result of about 3 months work. I plan to replicate the medley with my Mk3.  
N.B L.A.B have been the hottest band in NZ for a couple of years.

Great work Michael! Do you also use ‘real’ cymbals together with your e-kit? They looked real in the video at least…  
Curious to see how all of this translates to the pads. The hardest part of drumming is being able to play in the pocket which you’re already able to do, so my guess is it will ofcourse take some adjusting but you’ll get it done fairly easily actually.

Thanks Robert!, Can you define “pocket” for me. I’ve asked several experienced drummers and they never can! They all end up goinig um um um!

To me it’s the feeling that everything seems to nicely fit together, instead of it feeling a little off. To me it just means a song or a groove ‘works’!
