Does QFG have any lessons using the FGDP pad layout?

I use the FGDP layout (well, my own hybrid, but highly similar to FGDP), and I’ve taken great value from the QFG lessons. Each lesson has a video where Rob explains everything (this is largely layout agnostic), as well as visual resources (kind of like different musical notations, but more intuitive), one or two of of which are layout agnostic.

I’d say don’t worry about this if you are thinking about getting into QFG. There’s great value here! 🙂

Thanks, David. I appreciate your perspective. I think I’ll give the course a try 🙂

I really have to move my studio over to the new town I live in. I still want to translate the beginner course to the FGDP with a couple videos but my current situation does not allow for this.

I do not expect to ever translate all the lessons to the FGDP but I think a “translation guide” would be worth it. Once you understand the basics you can pretty easily play everything on a normal pad controller with a 4x4 QFG layout on an FGDP.

I wish I could be of more help right this minute ☹

Thanks Robert. I’m still working on the free part of the course, but I am learning valuable lessons as an FGDP player already. Jim
