Sitala For Mac and PC, is a free sample app with a standalone mode. It lets you load one shots to pads which can be mapped to a MIDI controller. I like it because it is simple and not distracting, and I can load one shots or audio. It can break up an audio loop into individual sounds by transient and put them straight onto the pads. Its a simple way to play with loops and one-shots you already own. They are working on layering of the pads to create variation with round-robin triggering. Pretty good for a free app. [https://decomposer.de/](https://decomposer.de/)
